-Join the group for a guided tour of part of this 35 acre modern art wonderland. A great chance to actively both engage with the art, and understand the stories behind each piece. Admission is $12/$10 for Seniors and there is a boxed lunch option inclusive of admission for $25 (please reserve in advance with Allette).

-All interested parties are welcome to attend our open-door planning meetings. This is where we do the heavy-lifting to determine how to keep the group thriving with great events, the tackling of important issues, and as always, a little catching up among members.

Rutgers Club of Greater Trenton Beer Brewing Trip
The Brewer's Apprentice---Freehold, NJ

-Join the RCOGT gang at this very unique event where we will work with the team from The Brewer's Apprentice to select a recipe and brew our own beer. These efforts produce 6 cases (Twelve 22oz. bottles per case) of the beer of your choosing. Feel free to split the cost and effort among as many as four individuals. Space is very limited with only 6 brewing batches for the facility. Additional details and contact info below.

-Cost of $240 per batch (slightly variable depending on recipe chosen)
-RSVP NOW, Space is limited ($50 deposit required)
-Attendance required initially to brew and again 7-14 days later to bottle

Hopewell Valley Vineyards Pics---Thanks to Lauren Lew!

RCOGT Hopewell Valley Vineyards Tour and Tasting Is A Smashing Success!

On May 22nd, a healthy contingent from the Greater Trenton Alumni Group, gathered at Hopewell Valley Vineyards for a tour and tasting. The weather was calm and cool as owner Sergio Neri guided us through his vineyards and his impressive, modern wine-making facility.

Our group picniced on the bucolic grounds, enjoying a chance to mingle before our tasting. The house sommelier was kind enough to orate our tasting as we sampled from a number of award-winning whites, reds, and even a sparkling wine offering. Everyone in attendance left with a bottle in hand and a smile on the face. Hearty thanks go out to member Thom Montanari for spearheading and organizing this event!

The Rutgers Club of Greater Trenton---May/June Events

RCOGT continues to make strides bringing together the community of Rutgers Alumni in Central New Jersey and Bucks County, PA. In the back half of May we have:

-June 2nd---(7pm start) May Planning Meeting at The Firkin Tavern in Ewing, NJ---yes, I know a May meeting in June, but it is a wacky month!
